Witterings from an old indie kid

The Wellington – It’s So Fine

Indonesian band The Wellington follow up their recent split single with The Sweetest Touch with a taster for their forthcoming debut album. It’s So Fine sees the band drop the psychedelic and baroque influences from the aforementioned split single and replacing them with a sound reminiscent of Creation Records 1989/90. Given that the latest Ride album is yet another disappointment The Wellington are a worthy replacement to fill their shoes based on this excellent dreamy, retro sounding track. Roll on that album!
