Another day and another great release on Emotional Response courtesy of this fine split single. Enemy Anemone is Jen Turrell (Boyracer) who delivers three slabs of post punk inspired pop songs with the longest running in a 1m28s.
Making slightly longer tunes is Australian band Cougar Vox who deliver the EP’s finest moment on the pop punk joy that is Cragieburn, a moment that should inspire you to jump up and down such is it’s infectiousness. The EP finishes with another punk/riot grrrl inspired effort from the latter that will certainly have me seeking out more of their work.
