The Luxury Gap

After posting about the Alpaca Sports album last week I realised that I haven’t explored Swedish label Luxury for some time – witty post title eh?

First up is Makthaverskan who released their second album Makthaverskan II early last year. Not sure why I didn’t mention it at the time but it’s a cracker. Also check out the Something More 7″ featuring an excellent live version of Inside of Me taken from their début album called erm Makthaverskan! Pure indiepop.

Gothenburg’s School have released two excellent digital singles in the past month. Début So Long, with it’s tinge of dream pop, just edges it over Clouds Aside for me.

Last but by no means least is You Can’t Make Me Make Up My Mind by The Sun Days whose tagline is dance or die. This takes me back a few years to when Swedish indiepop ruled the waves.
