Whilst the UK indiepop scene stagnates once more we have to look further afield for our fix. Bands from The Philippines and Indonesia have been producing high quality indiepop for a few years now ably promoted by the likes of the amazing SEA Indie and the now seemingly defunct Popscene Manila (just go and download all those releases!).

Dufflecoat Records is fast becoming an outlet for some of these bands to gain wider exposure here in the UK and one of the recent releases was by Bandung based four piece The Colleagues.

Building on the free download single released back in February a six track EP has just been released to acclaim. Comparisons have been made to the likes of The Sundays and The Cardigans. Stream the track, download the freebies and buy the EP.
