Sunday Records have released a second volume of songs as “a (another!) special treat for our fans during the coronavirus isolation”. Once again the compilation features tracks collated from acts on the labels roster. The Proctors open with Only Stupid, a track that started life in the early 1990’s before Japanese Heart Software give us For Another Day which originally appeared on last years Lonely Hearts EP. Sunday Records have released a free compilation called Shelter. The label states that it’s “a special treat for our fans during the coronavirus isolation.” The album features acts from their roster both past and present including Sugar World and their blissful We Fell In Love track, Fawns of Love, Day & Dream and The Memory Fades. There are blasts from the past too in the shape of The Pristines, The Cinematics and Tokidoki. The Memory Fades – She Loves The Birds EP

The Memory Fades is the new project from Stephen Maughan (Bulldozer Crash/Kosmonaut). On the She Loves The Birds EP Maughan is joined over various songs by Marc Elston (Bulldozer Crash/Franklin’s Kite/The Liberty Ship), Graeme Elston (Eva Luna/Astronaut/Love Parade), Jyoti Mishra (White Town) and Chris Morgan (The Deddingtons). Sunday Records have compiled the two singles released by the Falmouth based band Lips last year alongside three new tracks for the band’s forthcoming self titled EP.
