This week’s pack of three features three songs with a nice video tagging along for support.
Dotsun Moon – Never Had a Heart
I have been meaning to post this one for a while. Since June, in fact! It’s a heavily New Order influenced track – just check the Peter Hook style bass and the Barney vocal style. To be fair, it sounds like Hooky singing too.
Never had A Heart is taken from the album Tiger. Additionally, the new EP Moments In The Sun is out now.
Últim Cavall – Tempestes de Sorra
Jumping from the few months old, to the spanking brand new! Catalonian band Últim Cavall have just celebrated their 10th anniversary and have released their new mini album 10 Anys D’un Refugi as part of the celebration. It’s a live recorded EP as the video shows, and more from the same session can be viewed here. Dreamy stuff.
10 Anys D’un Refugi is out now on Discos De Kirlian.
Tulpa – Transfixed Gaze
Transfixed Gaze is taken from the forthcoming album Monster of the Week from the Leeds based Tulpa. It’s another lively, and sometimes noisy, pop song from the new signings to Skep Wax.
That album is out at the end of next month and can be pre-ordered from here.
