London’s Foundlings, who are rockin’ harder than a nut roast (their words not mine), released two digital singles back in March and I have finally managed to scratch them both off my must listen too list.
Whilst I enjoyed the rockier and unpolished sound of Misery it’s the more melodic Your Sister that I have been coming back to thanks to the catchy, infectious jangling guitars coupled with front woman Amber’s excellent vocals. Whilst their music obviously draws a lot from 1980’s influences they remind me of the now inactive Sky Larkin. Whether it’s the eighties or the noughties that floats your boat Foundlings have a lot to offer you. Give ’em a listen.
