There are two versions of Please on the new self-titled EP from Indonesian outfit Jennifer. It’s the rawer sounding B Version that grabs my ears with its infectious indiepop melodies and words. It also features some lovely 1980s New Order style guitar melodies that run throughout the song. Sadly, the other tracks are a bit polished for my liking, erring to the sound of a way overproduced Orchids. But that’s just my view, so give them ago for yourself, as they may grab you. For now, it’s this one on repeat!
