Pennsylvanian’s Joyful Forfeit set a pretty impressive benchmark with their debut track Clawing At The Back Of Your Eyes but on the new track Under The Ice Again you could argue that they have reset it already!
Taken from the forthcoming Everything Came To Light EP is a poppy track despite the words that portray a lack of promise or hopefulness. It’s hard not to be reminded of The Lightning Seeds, especially the vocals, which are very Ian Broudie like. And that ain’t a bad comparison to make, is it?
