This week’s pack of three features three hot off the press new tracks.
Blume – All Out Of...
I have been a fan of Alberta based Blume’s blend of drone, Krautrock and psychedelia for some time now. The lengthy new single All Out Of... doesn’t disappoint, sounding like a slowed down version of Loop’s classic track Collision. It’s a tester for the forthcoming album Inner Vision, which will be released towards the end of next month.
Futureheaven – Coldgaze
Sweeping shoegaze from Sydney, Australia. The vocals deviate from hushed and ethereal to almost spoken. The guitars glisten and sparkle, making Coldgaze an essential listen for any discerning shoegazing fan.
Tapeworms – IRL
Lille’s Tapeworms are back not only with a new single but a new take on their sound too. It’s full of beats courtesy of the misshaped synths, with the indiepop style vocals sometimes struggling to keep up. There’s lots of bleeps and bobs on this frantic pop song, I can tell you.
