By The Sea is a three-way collaboration featuring Indonesian acts Humsikk, The Cottons and Amy Amanda. I have not heard of the latter, but the other two acts have put out some fine indiepop singles in the past, although not a while now.

By The Sea is a mellow indiepop song with influences of the 1960s girl bands running alongside those from the 1980s UK indiepop acts Indonesian bands love so much. The female vocals are a delight, with the questioning words dreamingly ghosting over the twee infused guitars. There are some nice synths too. It would be nice to hear more from this trio!
