Hang On sounds a bit like The Jesus and Mary Chain covering The wedding Present. There is fuzz alongside the soaring, thriving guitars whilst the vocals, which sometimes seem out of place, have a recital feel about them. The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming fourth album and is out now on Sotron Records.
On another note, the band’s vocalist/guitarist Chris Dam has a solo album out now under the name Pale White Sun. He describes the album as “folk-ish alternative country lo-fi psychedelia”. Whilst I have not worked my way through the whole album, some tracks like Away do sound reminiscent of the Lizards, so that may be a way in if the description does not appeal. His self-titled album can be purchased from here, again on Sotron Records.

Oh great, I almost emailed you about this the other day to make sure it was on your RADAR, but then saw you already knew about the band, so I figured I’d see you post about it soon enough. I’d add early Teenage Fanclub to the influences as well. Can’t go wrong with a track reminiscent of TWP, TJAMC, and the Fannies.
Good call on the Fannies. I can hear that once I stop humming my favourite dress!
