Kondratie – Cadavre
Pounding darkwave from Perm, Russia with deep, sometimes unrecognisable, vocals. One for dancing in the Bat Cave.
Toska Po Domu – Ашдод
Toska Po Domu is the project of Konstantin Ostrovsky who is also in Kondratie. The project errs onto the minimal side of things and Ашдод also applies the sound of old Sci-Fi soundtracks and harsh, bleak industrial sounds.
Layuchi Kvity – Метель в Киеве
Translating as a “Snowstorm in Kiev” this track from Kyiv’s Layuchi Kvity is a synth driven track being both bouncy and catchy. Nice sing along chorus too if only I could speak Russian!
