Prepare My Glider – Convertible, Full Speed

Canadians Prepare My Glider are joined by Russian indie folk artist Gouachepaint who provides both words and voice for this collaboration. Convertible, Full Speed is another example of hazy shoegaze drawing on influences from the likes of The Cocteau Twins to My Bloody Valentine. The ethereal vocals are somewhat incorporeal whilst musically the song shimmers before fading out in a spate of harsh, industrial sounding, noise. Yeah. It’s good!
