Pale Spectres – Supermarket Love

Wow. Here is a surprise. A new single from Parisian indiepoppers Pale Spectres who I last heard via 2017’s self titled EP . It’s a re-recording of a track that appeared on a self released CDR titled the April 2014 EP. It’s not listed on Discogs but the original version of the song, which can be heard here, was part of an EP called Rome 2013 EP. It’s also a staple of their live shows.

Any way anal retentiveness aside, it’s good to hear this one again. It’s a fine track being both catchy and addictive resplendent with all the hooks you would expect to find in a great C86 inspired indiepop song. And great is exactly what it is especially with it’s Field Mice-ish charms.
