The Summer Triangle are based in California and consists of Dale (Some Gorgeous Accident, Apple Orchard) and Connie (Carnival Park). They will be shortly following up their debut single Stardust with a self titled EP.
The band has recently released a preview track in the shape of opener Distant Skies and it’s a dreamy synth-laden indiepop track that whets the appetite for that EP. Connie’s vocals are particularly lovely here as they drift/fade in and out of the song.
The EP will be out later this week on limited edition 10″ lathe-cut vinyl and digital formats. You can pre-order it from here. I like the minimalist artwork too – very post-punk like!
