MØAA consist of Jancy Buffington and Andrea Volpato. The former was originally based in Washington before moving to Italy to realise her songs in collaboration with the latter.
X-Marks is the second single to be taken from the debut album Euphoric Recall and it’s a haunting, atmospheric song that invokes the early 1980s post-punk sound which has been blended with dream-pop sensibilities. The bass is gloomy whilst the vocals add further elements of beauty. An impressive song that suggests the album has to (must?) be heard.
