The Florida based band Catherdal Bells released their second album last week. Titled Ether it features eight tracks including the recent single Dark Aura. There are a lot of different elements that comprise the band’s music ranging from synthpop to shoegaze. The results are ethereal and dreamy songs which are sometimes punctured by jangling and post-punk guitars. The Chameleons style effects that are found throughout Dark Aura is proof of that pudding. Ether is an enjoyable scamper which is perfect for my ongoing lockdown listening sessions!
