The new single from Andy Jossi and Krissy Vanderwoude aka The Churchhill Garden is a slow-building, melodious affair. The shimmering guitars and ethereal vocals draw their influences from both post-punk and shoegaze whilst the words tell a tale of regret, possibly hope, as a relationship looks to implode. The resulting crescendo is a particular delight.
In an ideal world, the partnership of Jossi and Vanderwoude would be right up there. Whilst we don’t live in such a world we all know how good they are. Beautiful as ever.
