FrailruR come from the North Rhine-Westphalia region of Germany and, as the title may suggest, this is their debut release. On the evidence here it seems the band have a penchant for creating fine coldwave tunes which inspire references to The Cure, thanks to the guitar as well as Joy Division to a lesser extent.
Can’t Understand is the standout track for me thanks to some fine basslines, synths and an impressive vocal performance. Overall it’s a solid sounding EP. One for the discerning post-punk fan.
