Nevver – Nada Me Importa

Elefant Records connected a previous release of Nevvers to Felt’s Primitive Painters. For the blurb surrounding Nada Me Importa (Nothing Matters) the label connects them, when mentioning the track’s melody, to the likes of The Cure and New Order. I cannot hear the former but there is certainly more than a hint of the latter’s guitar sound woven through the song. It’s a strong track about living in the impoverished part of town and the powerful video explores life and culture of living on an estate. I am glad they abandoned the sound they had on the previous Finde. Getting stuck in and giving post punk a modern twist suits them so much better.

Nada Me Importa is out now digitally via Elefant Records and can be purchased in from here.
