Witterings from an old indie kid

Grrl Cloud – Winding Streets/Voicemail

Originally released for Cassette Store Day Philippines 2019 Winding Streets/Voicemail by Manila based Grrl Cloud has a recent digital release courtesy of Genjitsu Stargazing Society who are also the label behind the aforementioned event. Winding Streets is twee pop at it’s finest echoing to the early 1990s indiepop sounds of labels such as Woosh or Sunday Records whilst Voicemail is an acoustic song that is both delicate and wistful. I have not heard much from the artist or label but some digital crate digging may well be in order.
