Texan band Flowerbed have been impressing with their tracks to date and this self titled EP cements that even further. Sounding like a cross between The Cocteau Twins and Slowdive with hints of Lush and My Bloody Valentine thrown in for good measure their sound leans towards the etheral side of dreampop. The guitars are woven into harmonic threads whilst the voice of bassist/vocalist Bailey Biggs are hushed and soothing and at times the bands music sounds like the shoegazing equivalent of a lullaby. Lovely stuff especially on the beatific bluebonnet.
