Something For The Weekend? Damnably Presents – Attyuuma (Blink Of An Eye) 2018 Tour

London based promoter and label Damnably are promoting an excellent gig featuring their artists at London’s Scala on Thursday 19th April. I am there with bells on. This weeks pack of three features a track from each band playing.

Otoboke Beaver – anata watashi daita ato yome no meshi

Japan’s Otoboke Beaver are headlining and anata watashi daita ato yome no meshi is their latest single (Feb 18). I like the bands brand of shouty garage punk and this single is no exception.

You can buy the band’s music from here.

Say Sue Me – After Falling Asleep

After Falling Asleep is the third single to be lifted from the band’s Where We Were Together album that is released today. Their mix of melodic indiepop and shoegaze/dreampop seems to be ticking the boxes of many around the globe. Last year’s Good For No Reason single was simply stunning so much so that it was my track of the year and, based on what I have heard so far, the album will certainly be in my top ten for 2018.

Leggy – Not What You Need

Cincinnati’s Leggy are a new one from me despite being around a while. This track from October 2017 is their latest. I really like the melodic guitars on this one which mixes a number styles to great effect. The vocals are great too. I will certainly be delving into their back catalogue.

Tickets for the gig can still be purchased from here. Other tour dates can be found here.

EDIT: The label have also put together a Spotify playlist in support of the tour.

See you down the front!
