Just to prove that everyone hears things differently I have read a lot of comparisons of Pang to The Long Blondes. This is a bit wide of the mark for me and I would say that Pang owe their sound to the likes of female fronted post punk acts such as Girls at Our Best, The Modettes and to a lesser degree a punkier Slits but then again I am an old man!
Amongst their peers I would suggest what Liechtenstein were doing a couple of years ago also fits the mould as evidenced on the tracks available for preview taken from their brand new 7″ single.
