I have been a bit slack on posting these past couple of weeks but I have some good excuses for that! Firstly I have set up a new record label with my Sleeping Today Promotions collaborator. I have also been helping promote the next Culture Bunker night which takes place on October 22nd and it will also be part of the #keepingitpeel events for 2016. Dora Maar – Dora Maar

Dora Maar hail from Edinburgh but you can hear echoes of Glasgow’s Postcard Records in their music whether it’s Josef K or The Go-Betweens. Their jangle pop may be reminiscent of bands who appeared on C86 but I suggest that it’s C81 where they would have the snugger fit.
