I am not sure how many people listen to this series of mixes but they are fast becoming my favourite to put together. Two albums to mention this month are from Kenyan experimental artist KMRU and his album Kin whilst IKIGAI from the Berlin based Nadia Struiwigh is as strong an album that I have heard recently.

Romphea’s Blind Protocols EP reminds me, well in parts, of very early Chemical Brothers. The bleak sounding Inner Experience from Kisikilake is another fave and I could not decide between either of this past months Pye Corner Audio releases so they are both here.

That’s not to say the tracks I have not mentioned are not worth a listen. Is it me or does the Out of Focus (Always Remix) from Vivid Bloom sound like a little bit like Loaded?
