Lights is the latest single from the new to me Malaysian dreampop band Commemorate.

The band, who consist of Sasha Ningkan (lyrics/vocals/ guitars), Irman Hilmi (guitars/sequencing), Wan Hafiz (bass), Tariq Hamzah (guitars) and Muhammad Naqi (drums), released their debut self titled album back in April with Lights being the third single taken from it.

It’s the best one so far thanks to the shimmering guitars and ethereal female vocals that, as regular followers of these pages will know by now, I am a sucker for. Unlike it’s predecessors there is no video accompaniment which demonstrates it’s strengths on sound alone although their debut single Slow Down pushes it close.
