The Catenary Wires, the outfit featuring Amelia Fletcher, Ian Button and Rob Pursey, have collaborated with the acclaimed poet Brian Bilston for the forthcoming album containing 13 song-poems titled Sounds Made By Humans.
It’s preceded by the first single Alexa, What Is There To Know About Love? Whilst Bilston’s lyrics open a proverbial can of worms, Fletcher’s fey vocals lead into spoken words as guitars swing back and forth accompanying Alexa’s somewhat harsh answer. It’s a harmonious listen despite the melancholy.
