Ear To Ear is a small label records from Palembang, Indonesia. The labels new compilation Harness Your Pop rounds up tracks from the label’s releases over the past few years.
Whilst I am familiar with some of the artists here (Lazy Eye, Blonde House, Breath etc.) some are new to such as Alice Creek who I discovered recently via the Trusted Riders compilation and I have been playing them to death ever since. Their contribution here is last years Dandelion single and it is simply a delight which has already become a firm favourite with me.
Another new to me act is Latch and I am not sure how I managed to miss their lovely sounding single Nails which was released this time last year. The flip side Desire is just as good and that was been duly purchased too! Other highlights are Breath’s best Ride impression found on Romantic Pink, Dog’s delectable Leave and DIY pop found on Peony’s Kabut.
