The Vanishing Maxi Single is made up of the title track and Run. The topic of depression fuses both tracks. The latter tells the tale of dreams crushed by realities of real life whilst the former deals with Johatsu which , as the label explains, is a Japanese term that means disappearing from life, without a trace. Both songs are a fusion of indiepop and twee with the title track standing out for me.

These songs are brought to us by Rega and Ebbie. The Social Progress is an old project of Rega and the tracks were recorded over the space of ten days whilst he was on a visit home. Lets hope he returns home more often as both these songs are excellent.
