I don’t normally respond to messages in my inbox but I am glad I did here as I discovered not only a new band, well a few actually, but a previously unknown to me label.

The line that perked my interest was that the song was inspired by the “Mighty Mighty C86 Jangly Revival”. Well it was news to me that there was one but Last Cig does bear more than a passing resemblance to the Orange Juice inspired Brummies and I am not talking about the name of the band either!

The song packs a punch with dance floor jangling guitars being accompanied by effective vocals. As the words repeat the female backing vocals kick in, giving the song a nice polish. I am not sure what is in the water in Indonesia as some cracking singles have come out of that country of late. Add this one to that list.
