The Brazilian band Terraplana are certainly making up for lost time after their recent return after almost two years away.
Memórias is the band’s second single in as many months and is a noisy blend of shoegaze, post-rock and dare I say it, a bit of grunge influences too. Imagine if Lush were partial to a bit of Nirvana now and again, and you may get where I am coming from. It gets pretty rock-ish in places. However, the delightful vocals bring some balance to the song and gives it some harmonious ethereal beauty.
