A Tuesday trio!
Darksoft – Only Time Will Tell
Only Time Will Tell is taken from the current album Beigeification by Portland’s Darksoft. Some have likened them to The House of Love, others to New Order. It’s nice and jangly with retro sounding guitars pulling from dreampop, indie and alt rock.
Beigeification is out now on Look Up Records.
VVOLVES – Consent
VVOLVES have compiled their singles from 2020 to 2022 into one tidy package titled erm, 2022-2022. Consent was originally released in May last year and features some thriving bass and ethereal female vocals, with a sound echoing back twenty-five years or more. If the band are new to you, then this “pay what you want” collection is just the place to get started!
Lisasinson – Cuchillos
Cuchillos is the fourth single to be taken from the forthcoming album Un Año De Cambios. With their constant pillaging of unreleased albums and their ridiculous video premieres, Elefant are fast becoming the antithesis of the label they once were. Anyway back to the song, and it’s another bouncy punk-pop number from the Valencian band who stick to what they know best. Disposable pop fun!
