To say that the Silver Biplanes are not tied to just the one “genre”, for the want of a better word, is an understatement. Previous single Songs That Don’t Exist saw a fusion of indiepop and industrial, whilst Searching For Your Name contrasts greatly. It has that quintessentially English vibe and if Saint Étienne dumped the synths they could well of sounded like this. The black and white video adds to the mood.
