The indiepop and post-punk fusion of Indonesian act The Sensitive have been endeared by these ears for a couple of years now. The jangling guitars, programmed percussion and the deadpan, yet somehow poetic vocals style, easily grabs ones attention. Apparently the direct, satirical and tough words do not always go down well amongst The Sensitive peers. “It’s a just a cold, hard, jangly truth” according to one but they will always have a home in my part of the world. The Disagreement is out now on Disanorak.
