Lady Flash release their second album but their first in almost seven years on January 11 2023. Titled ど​こ​に​も​い​け​な​い​ド​ア (Door To Nowhere) it features nine tracks including last years cassette single Teen In Heart/Daydream a-nation.

Darkweb is the album’s closing track fusing the band’s obvious love of indiepop and post-punk. It’s not as noisy as their previous punk inspired efforts but there is a clear mix of various influences taken from across the decades. The joint vocals work well and I forgive them (just) for the indulgent guitar that rears it’s head at various points of the song.
