Indonesian band The Sweetest Touch have been making heavily Sarah Records inspired indiepop for a couple of years now. On the new EP you could argue that the Sarah inspired sound isn’t as prevalent as before but I still hear hints of The Orchids and The Field Mice especially on Tell The Truth.

However the remaining tracks on this new EP could be the sound of the band slowly coming out of their comfort zone as they are all laid back swirling, hazy numbers being more dreampop than indiepop. However what’s a “pop” between friends eh as the gentle and lovely songs here demonstrate especially on the atmospheric Moon. Songs for dreaming or falling asleep too.
