A Certain Ratio release their 12th studio album 1982 in March next year. Waiting on a Train is the first single to be lifted and features fellow Mancunians Chunky and Ellen Beth Abdi. It’s a mix of the band’s trademark post-punk funk coupled with hip hop. Both vocalists have great voices and when Ellen Beth Abdi’s sings it transports me back in time to late 1980’s Bristol! A great choice of single methinks.
