You, Nothing. hail from Verona, Italy. They have been together for a couple of years and released their debut album Lonely//Lovely in May last year. The band are currently recording a follow up album, which is due to be released by Coypu Records (It) and Shore Dive Records (UK), and I suspect the new single Call will be one track found on it.
It’s a shimmering dreampop effort that has a theme of melancholy whilst looking back at paths taken and innocence of youth, no doubt accompanied by dashed dreams and hopes. The song is further enhanced by some lovely ethereal moments and the voice of Gioià Podestà, who is also the band’s guitarist. A pretty impressive effort if truth be told!
