Capitol have recorded their take of the Jesus and Mary Chain’s A Taste Of Cindy which was a track on 1985’s Psychocandy album. It’s part of Crafting Room Recordings forthcoming Creation Records tribute compilation. However, the pedant in me has to point out whilst The Mary Chain were on Creation, A Taste Of Cindy was released via Blanco y Negro. Still it’s better than yet another version of Upside Down!
It’s not a bad effort to be fair and it will be interesting what else there is to hear on the compilation when it’s released.
