The Jeanines will be releasing their second album Don’t Wait For A Sign on April 22 2022 via Slumberland Records. According to the label the album “is deeper and a bit darker” than their self-titled debut with “the folk influences feel more pronounced” although the indiepop ones remain.
If, like me, you cannot wait the first track from the album has just been released. Titled Any Day Now it is 1m40s of retro indiepop joy. If I write any more it will be longer than the song itself.
