Italian band Smile quickly follow up March’s debut album The Name of This Band Is Smile with a new single. I must admit to not being taken with that album in the main but on Hideout it is clearly a case of a different kettle of fish. The track is energetic jangle-pop, influenced by American college rock bands of days gone by, whilst the vocals make it a catchy and addictive listen. Based on the several plays of this single today I may well revisit that album when I go on my next break in a weeks time!
