A Girl is taken from the new extended EP/Mini album by the Japanese band Letniy. The band, who formed in February 2020, consist of Suzuko (Vocals/Guitar), Shoko (Bass/Vocals), and Naoya (drums). The EP titled Same Here consists of newly rerecorded tracks, some of which that were previously aired on Soundcloud in demo form.

It’s the bands first physical release and their label, Test Card Records, state that their influences include Teenage Fanclub, The Pastels, and Hinds. As you will hear the lead single A Girl also draws influences from both shoegaze and indiepop. And sometimes you cannot get a better mix than that.
