The Pivettas – Curfew

The world and his/her dog have been raving about the new album Nowhere Guide from Berlin based band The Pivettas of late – well at least on the blogs I read! The band have just released a new video for one of the album tracks Curfew.

Like the rest of the album, which includes a cover of the Field Mice classic Emma’s House, it’s dreamy stuff with influences ranging from C86, 1960s pop and early 1990s alt-rock. The lyrics are a social commentary on topics ranging from travelling, nature and mental health and espouse the virtues of slower living.

The album is only available digitally at present and you can get it from the band.
