Girl Clout is a fiery and angry slab of riot grrrl anger dealing with the issue of being a woman in male-dominated spaces as well as the barriers that women STILL have to overcome in the music business. It’s a powerful punk-pop track reminding me of The Tuts and Colour Me Wednesday at their finest let alone mentioning the likes of Huggy Bear, Bikini Kill etc. Venting your spleen doesn’t sound much better than this.
