A quick post today featuring two new tracks from Indonesian label Don’t Fade Away Records.

Blonde House – The Answer

Blonde House hail from Palembang and The Answer is the follow up top last year’s split release with Melt. It’s an indiepop track with elements of post-punk. The vocals are dreamy, wistful whilst the song has a dreamy and hazy feel.

The Sweetest Touch – Promise

Depok’s The Sweetest Touch new single jangles to the sound of Sarah Records and there is plenty here (hear!) that encapsulates that fact right down from the vocals to the guitars. It’s a personal song for Razif Mudarsyah Haragi aka The Sweetest Touch who delivers it with panache. I love the retro artwork too. It’s very early 1980s!
