Wittering from an old indie kid whether it's c86, indiepop, jangle pop, post-punk, coldwave, shoegaze or dreampop!

Music For Gloves

Music For Gloves is a charity project by a group of independent record labels from Spain to help fight against coronavirus. All money raised will be used to buy medical gloves and masks for hospital workers which becomes more telling as I have just read cornonavirus death toll in Spain has now overtaken that of China.

Currently there are 12 labels involved but I have only managed to listen to the contribution from Meritorio Records which features unreleased tracks from The Maureens, Girlatones and Holy Tunics.

EDIT: I have also enjoyed the EP contributed by Pretty Olivia Records especially the unreleased single by Violet Hours.

You can find the Music For Gloves page on Bandcamp.
