The Artisans – Appleby Fair/The National Trust Disco

“North East England’s champions of jubilant guitar pop” The Artisans have made available two new tracks in the shape of Appleby Fair and The National Trust Disco. Both tracks are fine examples of the bands melodic indie/jangle pop that has been influenced by Postcard Records, C86 and beyond. Their lyrics are themes that identify with British culture but that’s part of the joy as, regardless of where in the world you may be, the words take you right into the heart of the scenarios featured in the songs and you will soon be singing along like a local. Marvellous as ever.
