Sarah Records revivalists Battery Point deliver another fine EP that in part pays homage to the aforementioned label. Another Year and Time are on the melodic side of dreampop/shoegaze rather than the harsh version practised by Secret Shine – see they are not paying that much homage!
That does come however with their cover of Another Sunny Day’s You Should All Be Murdered which covers this classic track with a layer of jangling guitars but sadly fails to create the beauty of the original. It’s not a bad effort mind!
